The generosity of these corporations, foundations, organizations, and individuals enables the Council to provide international awareness enrichment impacting more than 8,000 high school students and 1,500 teachers a year. Through expert speaker forums on and off-campus, specialized workshops for teachers, topical student forums from human rights to international careers, cultural events, travel and award programs, high school Junior World Affairs Council clubs, and the Academic WorldQuest competition, the Council provides opportunities to inform and engage the youth and teachers of North Texas.
